嘉賓簡介:
Werner E. G. Müller,德國美因茨大學(xué)杰出教授,德國埃爾富特科學(xué)院院士和克羅地亞科學(xué)院院士。擔(dān)任多個(gè)國際著名期刊的編輯和編委,如Nucleic Acids Research、Progress in Molecular and Subcellular Biology和Mechanism of Ageing and Development等。Müller教授曾先后赴美國肯塔基州大學(xué)、日本東京大學(xué)、日本國家癌癥研究所、日本微生物化學(xué)所和克羅地亞Ruder Boskovic所做訪問學(xué)者,長期從事細(xì)胞生物學(xué)、分子生物學(xué)和生物礦化等方面的研究工作,取得了令世人矚目的研究成果,包括Boehringer病理生理學(xué)研究獎(jiǎng)(1972年);Johann-Georg-Zimmermann癌癥研究獎(jiǎng)(1977年);Max-Bürger老人醫(yī)學(xué)獎(jiǎng)(1980年);中國政府“友誼獎(jiǎng)”,這是中國政府授予來華工作的外國專家的國家級最高獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)(2011年)等。Müller教授發(fā)表研究論文逾千篇,其中包括在國際頂級學(xué)術(shù)刊物Nature、Cell等。
Werner E. G. Müller is the university professor at the Mainz University in Germany, Academician of the Erfurt Academy of Arts and Sciences in Germany, Academician of the Croatian Academy of Science and Arts, and ERC Advanced Grant Investigator. He is editor or member of the Editorial Boards of a series of Journals and Book Series (e.g., Nucleic Acids Research, Progress in Molecular and Subcellular Biology [Editor-in-Chief], Mechanism of Ageing and Development [Editor- in-Chief], Cellular and Molecular Biology [Co-Editor], Biomedical Materials [Board member]). He has undertaken research for cell biology, molecular biology and biomineralization for many years, and has received numerous awards for outstanding results, including Boehringer Award for Excellence in Pathophysiology Research (1972); Johann-Georg-Zimmermann Award for Excellence in Cancer Research (1977); Max-Bürger Award for Gerontology (1980); "Friendship Award" of China, the highest award given to foreign scientists (2011). Professor Müller has published more than a thousand research papers, including the top international academic journals Nature and Cell.
