“海洋交叉創(chuàng)新大講堂”簡(jiǎn)介
“21世紀(jì)是海洋世紀(jì)”。近年來(lái),諸多以海洋謀篇的區(qū)域發(fā)展規(guī)劃紛紛被列入國(guó)家戰(zhàn)略層面,如天津?yàn)I海新區(qū);同時(shí),河北也已提出打造“沿海經(jīng)濟(jì)隆起帶”。
國(guó)家已做出海洋強(qiáng)國(guó)部署、建設(shè)海洋強(qiáng)國(guó)以推動(dòng)經(jīng)濟(jì)持續(xù)健康發(fā)展的決策,并將海洋生態(tài)環(huán)境以及生態(tài)紅線保護(hù)等均納入海洋生態(tài)文明范疇。因此,需要積極推進(jìn)深海技術(shù)、海水資源開(kāi)發(fā)利用技術(shù)、海洋生物技術(shù)等海洋高新技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)的發(fā)展,支持涉海及相關(guān)學(xué)科的發(fā)展,支持開(kāi)展海洋經(jīng)濟(jì)產(chǎn)業(yè)及相關(guān)研究,支持開(kāi)展海洋知識(shí)普及和海洋文化宣傳。
為了進(jìn)一步推進(jìn)學(xué)科交叉,推動(dòng)涉海領(lǐng)域科學(xué)研究、科學(xué)普及和人才培養(yǎng),依托化學(xué)工程與技術(shù)一級(jí)學(xué)科和海水資源高效利用化工技術(shù)教育部工程研究中心與河北省現(xiàn)代海洋化工技術(shù)協(xié)同創(chuàng)新中心等平臺(tái),聚焦海水資源利用與環(huán)境保護(hù),組織開(kāi)展“海洋交叉創(chuàng)新大講堂”。通過(guò)邀請(qǐng)國(guó)內(nèi)外知名專(zhuān)家、學(xué)者、企業(yè)家開(kāi)展講座、交流,共同探討與涉海相關(guān)的學(xué)科交叉融合、技術(shù)創(chuàng)新和人才培養(yǎng),助力河北工業(yè)大學(xué)相關(guān)學(xué)科與平臺(tái)發(fā)展和人才培養(yǎng)質(zhì)量提升。

High-performance Membranes for Energy Applications
報(bào)告摘要:
Membrane technology plays a vital role in almost all energy related applications. In petrochemical industry, membrane technology can save up to 90% energy compared to conventional separation technologies. Next-generation battery technologies such as Li-S battery require functional membranes to eliminate sulfur cross-over while allow lithium to fast transport. Membrane is also the most promising technology for energy-related materials such as CO2 capture and lithium extraction from inferior resources. In this talk, I will introduce our research in synthesis of high-performance membranes out of ordered porous materials, and their applications in propylene/propane separation, water treatment, Li-S battery, and lithium extraction from seawater.

Dr. Zhiping Lai is a professor in the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering program of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). He received his B.E. and M.S. from Tsinghua University, China, and Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His research focuses on developing high-performance membranes out of ordered porous materials and their applications in the separation of hydrocarbon mixtures, seawater desalination, lithium-sulfur batteries, and low-grade heat recovery. He is the SABIC presidential chair from 2013 to 2016 and the 2020 AIChE Industrial Gases Award recipient. He is recognized as one of the pioneers who opened up the field of MOF membranes which has been one of the most active research directions in membrane research.
賴(lài)志平,阿卜杜拉國(guó)王科技大學(xué)(KAUST)化學(xué)與生物工程系全職教授。研究重點(diǎn)是利用有序多孔材料開(kāi)發(fā)高性能膜,并將其應(yīng)用于烴混合物分離、海水淡化、鋰-硫電池和低品位熱能回收。于2013-2016年擔(dān)任沙特基礎(chǔ)工業(yè)公司(SABIC)講席教授,并于2020年獲AIChE Industrial Gases Award。賴(lài)志平教授被公認(rèn)為開(kāi)創(chuàng)MOF膜領(lǐng)域的先驅(qū)之一,該領(lǐng)域已成為膜研究中最活躍的研究方向之一。目前賴(lài)志平教授已在Science,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,J. Am. Chem. Soc.,J. Membr. Sci.等國(guó)際著名期刊發(fā)表近百篇論文。
